The exhibition Foco - Ecos da Vida Moderna [Foco - Echoes of Modern Life] is organised by the Serralves Foundation and curated by António Choupina, Director of Architecture, with coordination by Diana Cruz.

Claudia Rocha sought to capture the invisible: the identity of a place and how architecture resists abandonment, surviving through memories and fragments of stories that can no longer be seen but can still be imagined.

This series explores the modernist buildings of Foco, comprising the Tivoli Hotel, the Club, and the Cinema Estúdio Foco—a project by arch. Agostinho Ricca, co-authored by arch. João Serôdio and arch. José Carlos Magalhães Carneiro.
